WOF #1002 — one play of Wheel of Fortune by an anonymous visitor, 19 June 2026, at a WOF installation in public space in Vienna. The work is the play's finale: the finished collage, alive in an endless loop. One of 265 sealed originals of Magenta, the first series of WOF — Sebi's ongoing game of chance with the world's media archives. The theory behind the wheel: artis.love/wof-paper-en. Magenta is the first WOF series. For two months in the summer of 2026, the wheel stood in public space in Vienna and strangers played it. Roughly 850 plays, 386 finished works — 265 made the cut: the artist's picks. Each NFT is the play itself, the full animated loop, with a single frame as its still.

The play

Taken Home by Player records whether the visitor downloaded this loop at the installation and took it with them. 60 of the 265 did. The others stayed — and by the terms of the show those enter the artist's body of work, with gratitude to their anonymous co-creator.

The seal

This work is one leaf of a Merkle tree over all 265 works of the series. Change, remove or add a single work and the root changes. The root is written on-chain as the collection attribute series_root; the full proof is public.

Addresses

The addresses are content identifiers, not locations: they say what the file is, not where it sits. Anyone holding a copy can serve it again, and a silent swap is impossible.
